crumpled notes in fist
Wednesday, November 30, 2005 @ 22:13
i was buying a drink yesterday from 7-11 and i gave a 5 dollar bill and my change comprises of a note and a few coins and basically i just quickly closed up my fist to grab all the change while quickly exiting. mmm as i did so i realise that i've been doing this all my life and i suddenly wonder will i still be clenchin my fist 10 yrs or 50 yrs down the road when change is given back to me, just that of cos my clenching motion will be much slower and prolly weaker with my then wrinkly-old-still-hairy-hand as compared to my present not-crinkly-yet-but-of-course-hairy-hand. Some people have always been very 'orderly' with their change, like they'll just calmly slot the notes in the wallet and in the correct order they're in:50s followed by 10s followed by 5s and 2s. Den drop the coins in the respective compartments. Even if he's in a queue to buy fire extinguisers to put out fire with 11098 people behind him waitin to get their fire extinguishers to put out the fire too(and i bet u're lost with my fire extinguisher analogy.hoho.) And me in comparison to the calm soul will prolly be quickly grabbing and going, like holding the notes, trying to run with coins dropping and draggin the fire extinguisher as quickly as i can.

Anyways, back to yest, as i walked back and looked at the crumpled notes and coins in my fist, somehow i felt small like really weally small.. Like someone who's been sent to do an errand for mummy and's trotting home with the change clenched tightly for fear of losin the money if she lets go. basically, i just want to say i felt like a kid at that very moment in time. (and i think it'll be nice if i can still feel that way when i'm old and wrinkly next time) and i'm just thinking, will the calm soul who usually puts his change back in his wallet feel small like how i feel when he's in a rush and crumples up his notes like me? hmmm maybe one day if i meet a calm soul he can tell me.

mauhahahahaha in case u all dun really get what i'm trying to say, it's ok. cos i think i'm thinking too much by just looking at money in clenched fists! i'm so weird sometimes. perhaps all the times hahaha so just say, "AYE! SHE'S NUTS!" and laugh den at least this entry does have some purpose right? cos it makes u laugh a bit. ok at least smile or something. HAHAHAHAAH.

ANYWAYS! such cool weather.. mmm i think i needa zzz =)
